The Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) objective is to identify responsible owners and their canine companions. Dogs who have successfully accomplished their CGN certificate can be observed to show good manners at home and in public places as well as in the presence of people and other dogs.

The test consists of 12 steps which show the dog's manners in every day situations, as well as the handler's control of the dog. It is non-competitive and geared towards all dogs, no matter the breed.

Our next CGN test date is May 26, 2013. The cost is $25 per dog. Space is limited to 15 dogs.

We would like to thank Steve Marshall Ford for allowing us to use their showroom and property for all our CGN tests. We would not be able to have tests year round without their generous support.

Here are some of our graduates:

Here's Lenny, another rescued Pit Bull.

He's very proud as he admires his

CGN certificate and ribbon.

Callie is a proud SPCA doggy and CGN certified.

Toni with Gus, Birdy and Apple, all CGN certified.

Leasa & Pandora passed their CGN when Pandora

was only 7 months old!

Lisa and Brenin. Brenin is also a St. John Ambulance therapy dog.
